1. SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS PAST
Somethings never get old, yet we may forget about them because we get caught up in the newest, most popular thing at the moment. Same happen with vodka. With so many choices available now, I personally, like to explore and experiment with them all! One of those classics is Seagram's Vodka - American made, 5x distilled and perfect for those holiday cocktails.
2. SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT
So many brands can come under this category and more are coming on as you read this. But some of my favorites are a few of the most innovative and that would have to be the hemp vodka brands. Some are made from the seed, some from oil or bud and luckily for me, most are made right here in Texas! Check out Dank Vodka (made with terpenes), Highway Vodka (made from hemp & corn), Dr. Stoners (name says it all! small batch, made from "special" fresh herbs) to name a few. I've found these are a little spicier, almost like a rye vodka.
3. SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE
Coming soon to the market is a brand from the Casa Lumbre Spirits collection called The Community Spirit Co. It's purpose is to give back by partnering with communities - the first being one of those hit hardest by the pandemic - Hospitality. While other brands have been doing a percentage of sales, this brand is giving back not only it's proceeds, but via resources to those supporting and/or in said communities. "People Over Everything. Community Over Everything. Look for it soon on the shelves and in the meantime follow them on Instagram and sign the #Project86 Pledge. Blog on this coming soon!
So there you have it - I am filled with Christmas Spirit - and it's called VODKA!! Happy Holidays my vodka lovers.
